While he was alive, he made sure that they never had to worry about food, drink, or any of life\u2019s necessities. He provided for all their needs with great care.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"540\" data-end=\"832\">However, this constant protection had an unintended consequence. Because their father took care of everything, the sons never had the opportunity to learn useful skills or gain real-life experience. As the years passed, Vasudhar began to worry about what would happen to them after his death.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"834\" data-end=\"917\">One day, he gathered all four of his sons and spoke to them with great seriousness.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"919\" data-end=\"1142\">\u201cI am very worried about all of you,\u201d he said. \u201cWhile I am alive, I can provide for your needs. But when I am gone, who will take care of you? You must acquire knowledge and skills now, or you will regret it later in life.\u201d<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"1144\" data-end=\"1298\">His words deeply affected the four brothers. Realizing the truth in their father\u2019s concern, they decided to pursue education and learn something valuable.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"1300\" data-end=\"1412\">Vasudhar then told them, \u201cOne of my close friends is skilled in the art of magic. Go to him and learn from him.\u201d<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"1414\" data-end=\"1456\">He wrote a letter to his friend that read:<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"1458\" data-end=\"1585\">\u201cDear friend, I am sending my four sons to you. They are now old enough to learn something useful. Please teach them your art.\u201d<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"1587\" data-end=\"1648\">After blessing his sons, Vasudhar sent them on their journey.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"1650\" data-end=\"1849\">The four brothers traveled to their father\u2019s friend and began studying the magical arts under his guidance. Years passed as they trained diligently, learning powerful mantras and mystical techniques.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"1851\" data-end=\"1945\">Eventually, after mastering the art of magic, the brothers decided it was time to return home.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"1947\" data-end=\"2004\">While traveling back, they passed through a dense forest.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"2006\" data-end=\"2228\">As they walked beneath the tall trees, they came across a strange sight beneath one of them\u2014a pile of bones and skin lying on the ground. From its appearance, it seemed to belong to a lion that had been dead for some time.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"2230\" data-end=\"2357\">Excited by the opportunity to test their newly acquired magical knowledge, the brothers decided to bring the lion back to life.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"2359\" data-end=\"2510\">The first brother stepped forward and used his magic to assemble the skeleton. Carefully and precisely, he arranged each bone into its proper position.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"2512\" data-end=\"2598\">The second brother then used his magical knowledge to add flesh to the skeletal frame.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"2600\" data-end=\"2759\">The third brother followed by covering the body with skin, restoring the lion\u2019s complete physical form. Soon the creature looked as if it were simply sleeping.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"2761\" data-end=\"2851\">Finally, the fourth brother began chanting powerful mantras to breathe life into the lion.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"2853\" data-end=\"2913\">The moment the spell was completed, the lion sprang to life.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"2915\" data-end=\"2944\">It let out a terrifying roar.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"2946\" data-end=\"3091\">But the lion\u2019s primal instincts took over immediately. Driven by hunger and ferocity, the creature attacked the four brothers without hesitation.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"3093\" data-end=\"3130\">Within moments, it devoured them all.<\/p>\r\n<hr data-start=\"3132\" data-end=\"3135\" \/>\r\n<h3 data-start=\"3137\" data-end=\"3157\">Betal\u2019s Question<\/h3>\r\n<p data-start=\"3159\" data-end=\"3230\">After finishing the story, Betal turned to King Vikramaditya and asked,<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"3232\" data-end=\"3384\">\u201cTell me, O King, who among the four brothers was the biggest fool? If you know the answer and choose not to speak, I will break your head into pieces.\u201d<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"3386\" data-end=\"3454\">King Vikramaditya thought carefully about the story before replying.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"3456\" data-end=\"3707\">\u201cThe fourth brother was the greatest fool among them. He was the one who gave life to the lion without considering the consequences. By doing so, he placed himself and his brothers in mortal danger. His reckless action ultimately led to their deaths.\u201d<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"3709\" data-end=\"3740\">Betal nodded with satisfaction.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"3742\" data-end=\"3864\">\u201cYou have given the correct answer, King Vikram,\u201d he said. \u201cHowever, because you spoke, I must return to the Peepal tree.\u201d<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"3866\" data-end=\"3954\">With that, Betal slipped from the king\u2019s shoulder and flew back toward the ancient tree.<\/p>\r\n<hr data-start=\"3956\" data-end=\"3959\" \/>\r\n<h3 data-start=\"3961\" data-end=\"3984\">Sahasavan Veeryavan<\/h3>\r\n<p data-start=\"3986\" data-end=\"4136\">Undeterred, King Vikramaditya once again made his way cautiously back to the Peepal tree. Just as before, the corpse hung upside down from its branch.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"4138\" data-end=\"4320\">Without hesitation, the king brought the body down and placed it on his shoulders.
