Episode 8 – How Every Family Can Raise a Divine Child

When we speak of Rama, Krishna, Arjuna, Shivaji, or Rani Laxmi Bai, we often forget one truth: they were born to families who prepared for them. They did not appear from nothing. They were invoked, raised, and shaped by parents who lived for dharma.

The question is often asked: can ordinary families today raise such divine children? The answer is yes. Every family has the power to create greatness. But it requires discipline, intention, and the revival of Garbh Sanskar.

First, it begins with intention. Children must not be accidents of desire or chance. Before conception, parents must make a vow: that this child will be for dharma, not for pleasure, not for status, not for wealth. The very thought that begins the journey must be pure.

Second, preparation. Just as Dasharatha performed yajna to bring Rama, parents must prepare their own bodies and minds. Purify your food. Live sattvic. Control anger, greed, and restlessness. Chant mantras. Read the Gita. Fill the home with vibrations of devotion. This creates the space for a divine soul to enter.

Third, the womb itself must be treated as a temple. During pregnancy, mothers must live with care. What she hears, the child hears. What she feels, the child feels. Read Ramayana, Mahabharata, Bhagavad Gita. Sing bhajans. Fill the child’s first environment with strength and dharma. Fathers, too, must live in restraint and responsibility, for their energy shapes the home.

Fourth, upbringing. After birth, the child must not be raised by screens, but by stories of heroes. The Gurukul method must be revived in spirit. Teach discipline, devotion, courage. Tell the child of Rama’s sacrifice, Arjuna’s focus, Shivaji’s bravery, Rani Laxmi Bai’s fire. Children become what they are surrounded by. Give them dharma, and they will grow into protectors of dharma.

Fifth, example. Parents cannot preach what they do not live. If a father is weak, how can his son be strong? If a mother is careless, how can her daughter be disciplined? Children imitate more than they listen. Live the dharma you wish them to inherit.

This is the blueprint. This is how every family, no matter how ordinary, can raise extraordinary children. The cycle of weak rulers and corrupt leaders can be broken only when families once again take responsibility for the souls they bring into the world.

Krishna said: “If you call me, I will come.” If you call with sincerity, he will come as your son, your daughter, your next generation. The gods are waiting. The question is: are you calling? Or are you leaving it to chance?

The future of Bharat is not in the hands of politicians. It is in the hands of families. Every Jijamata can raise a Shivaji. Every Kaushalya can raise a Rama. Every Kunti can raise an Arjuna. Every family can raise divine children—if they choose to.
