Why is society corrupt today? Why is there injustice everywhere, leaders stealing from the people, rulers serving their own greed instead of their nation? The answer is as old as civilization itself: when rulers are corrupt, society becomes corrupt. When rulers are dharmic, society flourishes.
Look back at our history. Under Rama, Ayodhya became Ram Rajya—a kingdom remembered for justice, fairness, and prosperity. Under Chandragupta Maurya and guided by Chanakya, Bharat became strong, disciplined, and united. Under Samudragupta, the empire expanded and dharma was respected. These were times when rulers upheld dharma, and so society itself reflected dharma.
But when rulers became weak, indulgent, and corrupt, everything collapsed. The gates of Bharat were thrown open to invaders not because our land lacked strength, but because our rulers lacked character. Instead of guardians of dharma, they became slaves to their desires. And a corrupt ruler creates a corrupt system, which then shapes a corrupt society.
Shivaji Maharaj himself said: a kingdom’s strength is not in its wealth or forts, but in the dharma of its ruler. That is why he stood like a lion against tyranny. That is why his people followed him with loyalty unto death.
Now ask yourself—who are our rulers today? Do they embody the spirit of Rama, Shivaji, or Chanakya? Or do they reflect greed, corruption, and weakness? The state of society is nothing but a mirror of its rulers. If leaders are corrupt, citizens lose faith. If rulers are dharmic, even ordinary men rise to greatness.
But here lies the hidden truth: rulers themselves are born of families. Weak families create weak rulers. Accidental parenting creates accidental leaders. If we want strong rulers, we must first create divine children. And that begins in the womb. A child born without dharmic grounding grows into an adult without dharmic vision. And that adult, when placed in power, corrupts the entire society.
So do not blame politicians alone. The root is deeper. The fault begins in the way we have forgotten Garbh Sanskar, the art of dharmic parenting. Bharat will not change by replacing one corrupt leader with another. Bharat will change only when families once again raise children with the fire of Krishna, the discipline of Rama, and the courage of Shivaji.
Krishna himself said in the Gita: “Whenever dharma declines and adharma rises, I manifest myself.” That manifestation happens through chosen wombs, through parents who call him with sincerity. If today’s parents call with tapas and intention, divine rulers will be born again. But if parents remain careless, corrupt leaders will continue to rise, and society will continue to fall.
Good rulers create good society. Bad rulers create corruption. The cycle is clear. The question is, will you break it?
The revival of dharma begins with you.
